The General Real Estate Authority has launched the real estate advertising licensing service, which enables the advertiser to advertise the property according to the real estate brokerage system. This service comes as an alternative to the previous requirement, which requires the presence of an advertised number in the real estate advertisement. The Authority explained that this service is currently available to the individual broker and the establishment broker, and will be made available in the next stage to the establishment owner directly through the Authority’s electronic platform. As for the individual owner, it will be made available to him later through real estate platforms. She stressed the necessity of having a mediation contract between the broker and the property owner that includes marketing in its scope, in order to issue a real estate advertising license. The Authority stated that work is now underway to develop a programming interface (API) with its electronic platform. To enable real estate marketing platforms to verify the real estate advertising license while adding advertisers to their ads to meet the requirements of the brokerage system. With regard to current practitioners as licensed brokers (before the launch of the platform), an automated license with the “Real Estate Brokerage and Marketing License” was issued to them automatically, text notifications were sent to them, and an “Establishment Broker License” was issued to establishments registered in Ejar, as for establishments with an announced number. And the establishments classified by the “Authority” will be issued a license later.
